Resize an animated GIF
Choose a GIF and enter width or height in pixels. With the aspect ratio locked, changing one side calculates the other. Alternatively, use a percentage of the original size.
Pixels are not file size
Width and height describe the picture in pixels. KB and MB describe the file’s bytes. A smaller picture does not guarantee a particular file size. Use the compressor for a target in KB.
Will my animation keep moving?
All decoded frames are resized, retaining their delays and loop setting. Unlocking the aspect ratio can stretch the image. Enlargement cannot restore missing detail. Check the downloaded file in an animation-capable viewer.
